My name is Kathryn Boreux or Kat for short. I am 40 years old and i was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes when i was 19 on June 21st 2003. I live in London with my wife and our dog Fern and Cat Dixie.
In my day job i'm a Quality Assurance Manager for a technology company in Central London that works in the Clinical Trial Space. When i am not talking about diabetes i spend most of my time talking about my current Lego projects i have on the go, the crazy things my pets are doing or the most recent vinyl that i have brought.
I decided to start this blog as a place where i can talk about my diabeties to get things off my chest but also as a place i can educate people about what it is like to live with Type one Diabeties.
I will also be talking about battles with my mental health, Eating Disorders and how i am using Lego building My creative outlet as a way to build back my mental health one brick at a time.
